This is an individualized and 100% interactive tutoring series where we will meet to work on specific skills that either you identify or that I can identify with some simple evaluation tools. We can meet as often as you like to fit everyone's schedules. Reading and literacy skills are extremely important, and I want all kids to learn the love of reading. I am state certified teacher of English with 18 years of experience as a Library Director and over 20 years as a private tutor.
No materials are required except in the case that the student would like to do a longer novel study in their interest/reading level. Then, a purchase on your own of the book, either traditional or electronic, may be made by the parent via whatever means they choose. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
