Class Experience
US Grade 8 - 11
In this tutoring session I will provide assistance to learners who are taking United States History classes. I am very flexible on the type of assistance to best help learners. I can discuss topics with the student, answer questions, provide information, clarify topics that learners find confusing, direct students to additional resources, help them with writing assignments, and help them improve their general study skills in U.S. History. My goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere to make students more comfortable asking questions and learning about U.S. History. All feedback is constructive and positive. I'm happy to provide feedback on written work. This class can help students at all stages of learning about U.S. History, whether they are struggling with basic concepts, advanced learners hoping to brush up for a high-stakes test, or anywhere in between. Note - If you view the purpose of history as solely to provide confirmation of your political beliefs, this class might not be a good fit for you. If, however, you value scholarship based on nearly 20 years of professional study about history, you've come to the right place.
Learning Goals
The learning goal for this class is variable because it depends on the tutoring needs of the learner.
