Class Experience

I am looking forward to meeting you learner! Prior to the classes starting, parents will be provided with an opportunity to share their concerns and ambitions for their child's learning. (Please note - parents will need to give at least 48 hours notice of which topic they would like their learner to study.)

We will develop key reading and writing skills, explore grammar, learn parts of speech and language devices, and study articles, stories and poems. Lessons will be presented on powerpoint...

This class is taught in English.

Students will improve their English language or literature skills, according to their own specific goals.

I have a Masters and a PGCE (professional teaching qualification) from the University of Oxford, and many years experience teaching. On Outschool I have been teaching 'English Detectives' ongoing group classes and a number of parents have approached me asking for 1:1 tuition for their learners.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
