Having been freelance for 38 years, I bootstrapped and taught myself what I needed to run a successful creative business . I did my first logo as a Junior (11th grade) in high school for $200 in 1986. I was hooked. Being able to teach students that they are never too young to create a life around what brings them joy is so rewarding. I homeschooled my own daughter who has a business of her own as well as partners with me to run three art shows annually.
