Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Curriculum will be catered to each individual and range from beginner-advanced in the following topics:
Sound production- focus on air/tongue/lip relationship
Technique development- valve and sound moving together
Embouchure strengthening- develop and train muscles around the lips to increase endurance
I recommend students play as many days as they would like outside of lessons. A little bit (5-15 minutes) each day is more ideal than an hour one day, but any amount of practice is good practice.
A trumpet/cornet and a mouthpiece are required.
Sheet Music and reference materials will be provided
A verbal assessment will be done to see if the student feels they are improving and will help us set individual goals for their future development.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
