Lessons will be customized to each individual learner.  Topics that will be covered will include tone production, scales and theory, sight reading, general musicianship, and songs appropriate for each learner.  Optional topics to be covered: Jazz improvisation, solo and ensemble festival preparation, etc. The instructor will assess each student during the first lesson, find out some specific goals that the student may have, and make recommendations on what method book, or materials to purchase, and a make a clear plan on how to best achieve these goals.
