Description
Class Experience
These lessons are specifically designed for our students who have already completed one or more of our group classes (of any skill level) and are looking for an individualized experience to either supplement or reinforce the skills taught in our other course offerings. At the request of the parent, and/or based on the student's individualized skill level as demonstrated by their history in our previous classes, we will customize each tutoring lesson to build upon the student's existing...
Depending on the preference of the parent, homework will or will not be assigned at the end of each meeting, but regardless, students are encouraged to practice what they've learned against family and friends, at home or online, between classes.
Students will practice chess against each other on Chess.org (as guests, no login or personal information required).
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Report cards will be made available to parents by request, at any time during or at the end of the ongoing tutelage, detailing their child's progress.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
