Class Experience

In this two time course, I will be working step by step with the student toward drawing a realistic and thorough portrait of their choosing! During these times, we will cover facial proportions, close observation of facial structure, shading, as well as other helpful techniques when drawing any portrait. Students are not required to have any experience in drawing people, but instead just an interest in learning and developing! I teach towards the growth mindset and will encourage students to...

For this class, learners will need a sketchbook with a minimum size of 8"x10" as well as various drawing pencils (I recommend a 2B and a 6B). Learners will also need to find a straight on image of the person of their choice, this could be a family member, a friend, a celebrity, etc! Plese share the image with me prior to the start of class!
