Work one-on-one with a certified math teacher to get the exact help that you need! Your learner will be able to ask questions on any topic from Pre-Algebra through Pre-Calculus. I will explain the concept, filling in background knowledge, defining vocabulary, and providing examples. Your learner will be given practice problems to demonstrate their understanding and they will receive timely feedback on their work. They will also be able to continue to ask questions for complete understanding. We can work on the skills/topics they need most help with and at a pace that is comfortable for them. I can also tailor my teaching to their unique learning needs. This class is listed as meeting once per week, but, depending on my availability, I am able to meet more often if that would be beneficial for your learner. For this reason, I don’t pre-schedule my tutoring classes, so please message me to discuss details and create a plan that works for you.

I taught high school math in a public-school setting for 6 years before my eldest was born. Since then I have been staying home with my kids, which I love, but I haven't given up teaching. My favorite thing has always been to work with small groups of students or one-on-one so that I can really get to know the student, their needs, and their learning style. I have tutored many students in many different classes, including middle school pre-algebra, high school ACT/SAT prep, and college Pre-calculus. I work hard to help learners gain the understanding they need to be successful.
