I am a successful Outschool teacher with proven methods for success. I am a certified teacher with 15+ years of teaching in the public, private, homeschool, university model, online, or private tutoring sector. I have a BA in Business Communications, a writing minor, and a teacher's certification and have been Charlotte Mason trained at Ambleside University. I'm also trained to teach Saxon math in grades 1-4 and utilize a variety of methods in order to be successful.    I have been a classroom first-grade teacher and am very familiar with the concepts needed to be taught at this young level to be successful. I can tailor my teaching for whatever needs occur and have an extensive library with multiple resources.  I have a proven dynamic teaching style and animated approach to teaching and learning. In addition, I'm passionate about meeting socio-emotional needs, in addition to academics, and have since become involved in Gals On The Go Project which provides prevention and resiliency workshops to kids through engaging activities, games, role-playing, crafts, and Socratic group discussions.
