Assessment
Assessment of the learning goals will be on an individual basis during and after the class. Each student will have a specific assessment from the teacher based on the concepts taught in class. On-going open communication between teacher and parent is highly expected.Class Experience

Many past Times Tales parents have asked, "What other classes do you teach?", "Can my child meet with you one-on-one for extra math help?" and "My child loves you, is there anyway you can meet with him, just to walk him through his worries about math?" At this class, children are welcome to: * bring their math homework that they need extra time or help with * learn or reinforce their multiplication tables * talk about their concerns about math and have a gentle, understanding teacher to help them work through those feelings * play math games created by Times Tales tutors to help retain math skills in a fun, low-stress environment This class is: * focused only on math related material or conversation based on the learners individual needs/concerns * one hour in length * can be set up for multiple classes or weekly meetings per parent requests * completely designed for each student's individual needs The teaching style of this class follows the same as our other popular Times Tales classes: * child focused * calm and positive * non-rushed environment to help children grasp math concepts at their own pace To set up a class, parents are asked to please contact Times Tale to enroll with the Times Tales Teacher - Marcy Drexler. When contacting Times Tales, please tell us what the needs are for you child with this class, will it be: homework help, learning a specific math concept, working through any emotional concerns when it comes to math, etc. We are committed to making sure that this class reaches the academic math goals, but also reaching each learner to feel more at ease with math and confident in their continual real-world learning outside of the Outschool Classroom.

Our learners 'shake off' the old ways and together as a small group master the upper times tables with smiles and confidence that only Times Tales® can bring!
Our classes are small, ensuring positive and individualized attention for each learner. We use engaging, fun videos of silly stories that provide students with a “memory peg” to make the upper times tables stick in their head for good! Broken down into three 1-hour sessions, your child will have mastered the most difficult times tables. Our first session covers 3x6, 3x7, 3x8, 3x9, 4x6, 4x7, 4x8, 4x9. Our second session covers 6x6, 6x7, 6x8, 6x9, 7x7, 7x8, 7x9, 8x8, 8x9, 9x9. The third and final session will be fun review games and an introduction to division - the Times Tales way!
