US Grade Preschool - 12
Does your child have an upcoming assignment they need help with? Is there a test they need to study for or are they having a hard time understanding something they are learning in class? Does your child struggle to understand what they read? Is it hard for them to discuss or write about what they've read? Do they struggle with sequencing, elaboration, or getting their ideas onto the page? Working one-on-one, your student and I will work on the skills they are struggling to master. The class will be structured according to their needs. That may look like meeting live online or communicating via email. If you are interested in this class, please contact me to schedule a section. We will find a time that meets your needs. If you are looking to schedule an ongoing session, please let me know so I can schedule that type of class for you. All tutoring classes are scheduled privately.

Supply List
I will provide all materials via Outschool. You may need or want to print them out. Depending on what we are learning, we may also use educational websites like Actively Learn or Quizizz. If your student and I work on writing, we'll use Google docs. The only additional cost would be a book if your student and I started meeting regularly and use one to practice reading comprehension skills.

I received my Secondary English teaching license in 2004. Since then, I have taught in public schools, private schools, and online. I currently teach ELL, ELA, and creative writing to students ages 4-84. My teaching style is encouraging and creative. I want my students to learn how they learn best, to feel supported, and for reading and writing to be enjoyable.
