Class Experience

In each session of this course, I emphasize a specific hand gesture and set of basic steps in varying counts.
I use animal themes to represent these gesture and movements because: 1) it's fun for students and fun for me :) and 2) it helps students connect with their movements more easily

This course is beginner-friendly. So, whether your child is new to dance or has had experience with other dance forms, there is something for all learners in this course.
In each weekly class, we will go through
- Introduction and welcoming new students
 - Stretching and warming exercise
- "Namaskara" or Indian style greeting
- Discuss the “Animal of the week”
- Learn hand gestures and movements. I will break down every gesture and movement; students will copy me to begin with and then practice alongside everyone
 - Cool down; review the lesson, ask questions and sign off.
