Class Experience

1. Improve higher level thinking via cause and effect, discussion, coupled with original and creative thinking.

2. Grasp the importance of certain events in the History of America.
I earned a Master’s Degree in History and another in Education, have lived and taught abroad, teach at several universities and also teach at an international high school. In my career I’ve seen many students struggle to understand History or fail to have interest in learning it. By exploring hard-to-believe but exciting, true stories students will have fun while also learning!
No assignment will be given but an optional homework assignment will be available for anyone who wants to learn more!
Paper and pen/pencil.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I value student participation so I will be informally monitoring involvement but no additional class work is required.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
