In this ongoing class, students will learn and practice tools to increase their self-confidence and self-esteem.

Class Experience

Students will learn a tool and/or a fact each week to help them increase their self-confidence and self-esteem.  I will present visuals in a slide show and we will practice different techniques such as journaling, drawing, repeating affirmations, visualizing, and more.

**Please remember that if your child doesn't make it to a class, there are no refunds.  Your child can watch the recording of the class.  If you want to pause the subscription, please do so by saturday of the week before. Thank you.

 Week of 2/2
Students will learn the power of words and thoughts.  We will practice transforming self-talk.

 Week of 2/9
Students will discuss what confidence feels like and looks like and they will learn about neural pathways in their brains and how they can strengthen them and make improvements.

 Week of 2/16
Students will learn how mentally rehearsing/visualizing and creating positive affirmations can be valuable tools when working towards a goal.

  Week of 2/23
Students will learn how to honor their unique attributes and feel confident in being different.

  Week of 3/4
Students will learn how to create self-love practices and form positive habits for their well-being. 

week of 3/9
Students will practice using a growth mindset and we will role-play different scenarios of positive thinking.

Week of 3/16
Students will how emotional well-being affects their confidence levels.  They will practice a tool called Heart Lock-In by HeartMath as a way of feeling good from the inside out and will practice imagining their happy place.

Week of 3/23

Students will practice using words that help them feel confident such as "I can do this!"  "I am capable of anything I believe I can do." etc. Then they will practice writing out a future scenario of them feeling confident at an event.

Week of  3/30
Students will learn to be aware of the doubt and anxiety that creeps into the mind to stop you from doing what your heart is leading you to do such as try out for the team, meet a new friend, start a new hobby, etc.

Week of  4/
Students will learn how to be confident in making new friends.  We will discuss key points in the process of making new friends.

Week of 4/21
 Students will create a Shine Your Light poster with drawings and lists of tools they will use to be confident, what they  love about themselves, positive affirmations and what they are grateful for
