Description
Class Experience
If your child shows an interest or love for music, this class is for them! Class is structured the same way because little learners thrive on routine and predictability! We will learn music concepts including but not limited to: Pitch, melody, tempo, dynamics, rhythmic patterns, using different vocal sounds, body percussion, and exploring found and environmental sounds. I structure my class with all learning styles in mind! We follow a visual schedule and will have these general "anchor"...
1. Something to use like a shaker, maracas, or bells (ex. you could use a box of rice or pasta) 2. A small towel, cloth, scarf, or bandana to move with the music! 3. Open, safe space to move your body!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be doing movement songs that require an open, safe space for your child to move. Parental supervision is required to ensure safety.
