In this class, students will learn how to make a new dessert each month. See below for what yummy dessert we are making this month. These desserts are a delicious treat for the upcoming holidays or anytime. During class, I will provide a step-by-step process from beginning to end. We will learn how to measure ingredients and what order to mix them together. This provides both science and math skills that are important not only in daily life but also in the kitchen. We will practice using an oven and other kitchen utensils to become an all around baker! If baker is more advanced and would like to bake on their own without me, please let me know and I can simply send the instructions for them to bake during the class while I just oversee. Each months recipes will be added by the first week of the month before. Ex: February will be added no later than week 1 of January. Monthly themes and recipes: Week of October 3rd: Pumpkin sugar Cookies Week of October 10th: Popcorn Ghosts Week of October 17th: Brownie Spiders Week of October 24th: Mummy Pretzels Week of October 31st: Homemade Monster Fudge Week of November 7th: Cupcakes with oreo fudge filing Week of November 14th: Pumpkin Shaped Mini Apple Pies Week of November 21st: Homemade Pumpkin Pie Week of November 28th: Apple Cinnamon Bread Throughout the class, I will instill safety tips and what to do and not to do in the kitchen that can help prevent accidents. No baking experience needed just a readiness to learn and have fun. Feel free to reach out if no class times work for you! In the materials section below, you can find a list of ingredients needed. Please have all the ingredients out and ready to go for class. If your student has any allergies or diet restrictions, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate them and give them an alternative option. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For class policies, please see About Me section in my profile!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from University of Central Florida
I love cooking and baking! I have been doing both for over 15 years. I started out helping my mom and dad make meals. My sister and I used to have cooking shows and pretended to have our own restaurant. Currently, I am a mom of 2 boys and am always making something in the kitchen. Like all kids, they go through picky stages and I have to get creative. I love experimenting with new recipes and baked goods. I have a lifestyle blog where I occasionally release recipes, as well.
