During the class I will lead children on a journey to Spain (tell them a story) where a royal painter, Francisco Goya, will "introduce" us to His Majesty King Carlos and his family. We will accompany them to the country side for a day of fun and games. We will look at and discuss some of the Goya's famous paintings. We will learn a few facts about Goya and the time period. We will also learn (or review) what painters do and what type of art is called still life. We will be naming colors and shapes while looking at Goya's pictures.
