This class is designed to help violin students grow their technique and musicality in a focused, supportive, and interactive environment. Each session targets a specific violin technique, giving students the opportunity to deepen their skills and develop a solid technical foundation. 🎻 What Will Be Taught? Students will explore a wide range of essential violin techniques, including: Bow techniques: détaché, staccato, spiccato, slurs. Left-hand techniques: shifting, vibrato, and finger independence. Sound production: control of bow speed, pressure, and contact point for optimal tone. Musicality: phrasing, dynamics, and expressive playing. 🧠 Topics We Will Cover: Understanding how each technique works. When and where to apply techniques in musical contexts. Listening and imitation exercises. Strategies for practice and overcoming technical challenges. Interpretation and expression in music. 📚 How Is the Class Structured? Each class focuses on one main technique. I begin by demonstrating the technique using my own instrument. Then, students repeat the technique, and I provide individualized feedback. Based on what I observe, I adapt my methods to help each student find the approach that works best for them. We reinforce learning through repetition, targeted exercises, and musical examples. 🎥 How Will I Teach? Through live demonstration. Use of video examples and images to reinforce understanding. Step-by-step explanations. Repetition and guided practice. I will also provide listening recommendations to help develop the student’s musical ear.
