Have you watched gymnasts flip, fly, and vault in awe? Every gymnast started out as a beginner who practiced their basic skills and body shapes. A strong bridge is an important foundation to many gymnastics skills! In this 15 minute class, we do bridge drills and various stretches in order to improve our back and should flexibility. Exercises will include: *Cat's stretch/child pose *Seal stretch/cobra pose *Bow stretch/pose *Walk hands down wall into bridge *Inside out bridges *Walking in bridges And more! I will critique each student's bridge throughout the class and offer feedback about how to make it even better.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
All students MUST have an adult nearby during class. There is always a small risk of injury when doing gymnastics. Students must have a open space with a soft surface to do the exercises on. A yoga or tumbling mat is strongly recommended.
Supply List
*Yoga or tumbling mat is strongly recommended *If the student does not have a mat, please make sure to have a soft floor or surface to practice on *No shoes or socks- students must go barefoot *Comfortable exercise clothes that are not too loose
