Have you watched gymnasts flip, fly, and vault in awe? Every gymnast started out as a beginner who practiced their basic skills and body shapes. A strong bridge is an important foundation to many gymnastics skills! In this 15 minute class, we do bridge drills and various stretches in order to improve our back and should flexibility. I teach dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. I coached at a local gymnastics facility for almost 3 years in Irving, TX. I also owned my own studio for two years in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was called Dance With Jenny!
*Yoga or tumbling mat is strongly recommended *If the student does not have a mat, please make sure to have a soft floor or surface to practice on *No shoes or socks- students must go barefoot *Comfortable exercise clothes that are not too loose
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
All students MUST have an adult nearby during class. There is always a small risk of injury when doing gymnastics. Students must have a open space with a soft surface to do the exercises on. A yoga or tumbling mat is strongly recommended.
