How Students Will Learn and They Will Interact with the Teacher and Each Other: This is a live experience where students will interact with the teacher as the teacher guides the students through each lesson listed below. The teacher will provide instruction, example problems, opportunities for questions, and plenty of review. Students will be able to share their ideas and give the teacher feedback on what they need to focus on. The time of the class will be equally divided between teacher instruction, guided practice, and student feedback and interaction. Time will be completely used for math instruction and for helping the students deepen their understanding. Don't Forget Your Math: It doesn't take long to forget your math. Likewise, it doesn't take much to improve math skills. Math is like a language that should be practiced on a regular basis. It can easily be forgotten, but if "spoken" often, math can be a skill that is retained for a lifetime. Do you want to retain the math that you have learned? Do you need to prepare yourself for the next math level? Do you want to investigate certain math subjects more deeply? I can help. I have been teaching math and science for over 2 decades. I would enjoy assisting you to improve your math skills. You cannot beat this. Math instruction from a professional math instructor for a very, very reasonable price. Here are the topics that we will cover: Lesson 1 - Lines and Angles In this lesson, we will review points and lines. We will also review the different types of angle and determine angel measurements. Lesson 2 - Polygons In this lesson, we will review convex, concave, and irregular polygons. We will determine how to find the area and perimeter of a polygon, as well as the circumference of a circle. We will examine how changes in a polygon's dimensions affect its area and perimeter. We will use properties of congruent and similar polygons to solve problems. Lesson 3 - Triangles In this lesson, we will learn about the different types of triangles. We will use the triangle inequality and the hinge theorem. We will prove that triangles are congruent or similar and answer questions based on corresponding parts of congruent or similar triangles. Lesson 4 - Right Triangles In this lesson, we will learn about the Pythagorean theorem, the HL congruence theorem, 30-60-90 triangles, 45-45-90 triangles, and the altitudes of right triangles. Lesson 5 - Trigonometry In this lesson, we will use triangle measurement to solve problems. We will use trigonometric ratios to find missing values of a right triangle. Lesson 6 - Circles In this lesson, we will review the parts of a circle. We will also apply the relationships between these parts to solve problems, such as finding the area of a sector and the lengths of arcs and line segments. Lesson 7 - The Coordinate System In this lesson, we will learn to find the distance between two points and the midpoint of a line segment. We will identify the slope of a line and create parallel or perpendicular lines. We will identify congruent figures and apply transformations. We will find the equation of a circle in a coordinate system and graph a circle given its equation or its center and radius. Lesson 8 - Solids In this lesson, you will review lines and planes in three dimensions. We will examine solid figures and the two-dimensional representation of three-dimensional objects. We will use properties of congruent and similar solids. We will also find the surface area and volume of three-dimensional objects.

Learning is so much fun and helping others learn is a passion of mine.
I have been teaching professionally for over 25 years. I have been very fortunate to have taught in four different countries in public, private, and online schools. My experience has allowed me to develop different teaching approaches, appreciate different learning styles, and acquire a portfolio of solid best practices to help you learn the subject material.
We all can learn, and we all want to learn. Sometimes support, direction, and instruction are needed for optimal understanding. I can provide that. I enjoy teaching and would love to help you.
I keep learning. Presently, I am trying to retain my French and Spanish, learn some Korean, and have gained a keen interest in learning how to code. It keeps my mind active.
Join me and we can learn together. I look forward to working with you.
