In this 45 minute class students will learn the basics of improv theater including exercises that will develop movement and public speaking skills. This class can be taken multiple times to learn new skills.

We’ll learn: >The “rules” of improv theater >How to take center stage in a conversation >When you shouldn’t take center stage in a conversation >How to lead others >How to follow others >Facial expression exercises >Creating imaginary words and sounds >Group dynamics
Filomena has studied and performed improv theater in New York City, and believes it can help students build confidence, get their bodies moving, and excite everyone’s imaginations.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
