Description
Class Experience
The goals of this class are to have each student have increased listening and communication skills, creative problem solving, heighten their sense of self-esteem, teamwork, and trust. The earlier one learns improv, the more beneficial it is! Improv molds great speakers and confident leaders, who more than anything can work with others and not be afraid to make a mistake.
I have 15 years experience performing improv comedy, and I teach it to students of all ages. I'm a main-company member at ComedySportz Los Angeles (LA's longest running show,) and have performed on every stage in LA. I've performed with members of Saturday Night Live, The Daily Show, and more! The most valuable part of improv is the skill of learning to believe in yourself, which is much easier said than done. My goal as a teacher is to help ignite that belief in all my students, because their voices and ideas matter, especially in the art form where you can do anything.
