Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 6
Welcome to our online theatre and acting improv class for ages 10 to 12! In this class, we will help your child develop their creativity, confidence, and communication skills through the art of improvisation.

Our class is designed to be easy to accommodate your schedule, with learners able to join at any time. Each week, we will explore different improvisation techniques and exercises that will encourage your child to think on their feet and work collaboratively with their classmates. They will also have the opportunity to develop their own characters and scenes, and grow their improvisational skills.

Our experienced and enthusiastic instructors will guide your child through the process, providing personalized feedback and support along the way. We believe that theatre and acting can be a powerful tool for personal growth, and we are excited to share this journey with your child.

Join us for a fun and engaging class that will inspire your child's creativity and passion for the performing arts. Don't miss out on this opportunity to give your child the gift of self-expression and confidence!

Each week, we will play improv games and practice improvisation. While we may complete multiple activities in one class period, we will always start our games portion of class with the game listed in the weekly theme schedule below. Please note that as weeks go on, past games may be revisited. Due to the nature of improv, playing the same game again is a great exercise and will result in a different experience each time. Students will find that as they learn new games and repeat games, they learn to react more quickly and be more creative.
