Improv Acting Makes Better Writers! (One Time Class)
What's included
1 live meeting
25 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
I am highly energetic, and I also focus on the social-emotional component of my students. You will see that my goal is for students to feel comfortable expressing themselves in front of others. The class will start out with a get to know each other activity. Since acting is very expressive, I am very clear of my intention to create a positive, open and trusting community between the learners and I. The class will have an improv warm up game. Portraying different emotions will be discussed and practiced. Students will also get a chance to create their own skits. The term 'actor's choice' will be discussed and explored. This is an introduction class that will give learners a 'taste' of what it is like to act and do improv activities.
