This is a course designed for students looking to improve their writing or those that enjoy impromptu writing. This class is also beneficial to learners that enjoy writing but struggle to come up with a topic. In this one time 50 minute course learners will discover what it takes to write a short story. They will then use those skills to write a quick short story based on a random image given to the class. If time allows, learners will be able to share their stories with the class. This class can be taken as often as learners like, as each class will be provided with a different image. Images might consist of objects, food, places or things found in nature.
Learning Goals
Students will improve story writing skills and practice impromptu writing.
