How do you draw something that's clear? In this class you'll learn tips and tricks on how to draw a realistic soap bubble. We will take a few minutes to look at photos of bubbles and then choose a size for our first bubble. We will work on one bubble for most of the class. If there is time, we will continue drawing more bubbles. For students: 1. Be kind 2. Wait your turn to speak, or raise your hand, or use the zoom function to raise your hand. 4. Listen to the teacher and your classmates. For parents: 1. Please have your student's work area set up, and all their supplies ready for your student, before each class. 2. Per Outschool safety policy, each student must enable their camera and check in at least once at the beginning of class to confirm their identity. If this is not done, the learner will have to be removed from the class session and can be readmitted to class once their identity has been verified. For more info on this safety, policy see: https://support.outschool.com/en/articles/579976-learner-safety-and-privacy-for-parents. Also, because the class is interactive, all students must have a working microphone. 3. You do not need a password to log into the Zoom meeting, as all students must enter through the Outschool portal (Make sure Zoom is downloaded, log into Outschool, click on the class and enter the classroom through the Outschool classroom portal.) 2. Classes will begin on time and will end on time, even if a learner is late. If your child is late, Outschool records the class so it can be viewed later. If there are no students in the class, I will wait 10 minutes and then exit the class. Refunds will not be issued after that time, as per Outschool policy. 3. Students will be muted and unmuted as needed. Please keep background noise to a minimum. Having a quiet environment is helpful for your child, but also to the other learners. If a student would like to speak please have them raise their hands, or use the “raise hand” feature in Zoom. If it’s a small or very quiet class, I will leave the students unmuted. 4. Most painting classes will need a parent nearby to help with mess control and cleanup. Most drawing classes, will not. Since I cannot be present in person, you child may need help with some things. You know your child better than I do, please use your discretion. In addition, there may be IT issues your child might need help with. 5. Regarding multiple learners from your household. “Parents are welcome to enroll two or more learners in the same section of a class provided that the class has enough spaces. You will need to enroll each learner separately for the section, but learners are welcome to share a device if that would make it easier to attend class.”

Supply List
- Black paper 8.5"x11" cardstock works best because it is very black. If it's not possible to get cardstock, construction paper will be ok. - Various sizes of glasses, cups, lids or similar objects that can be traced. Two or three is fine. - Sakura White Gelly Roll pen or something comparable. (These are inexpensive, are very opaque, and can be found in most craft stores) - A variety of colored gel pens - Colored pencils are nice to have for the project, but not absolutely necessary.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
