This class is designed to be a fun way to practice art in a stress-free environment. Students will be given the opportunity to create art in a relaxed environment and encouraged to practice making "imperfect" art. Learners will also get some opportunity to share and tell and socialize with other learners in their age group This class is not a traditional art class. Students will learn to approach art in a less structured way. Students will learn some social skills and ways to enjoy making art without the pressures of "getting it right"
Learners are encouraged to keep practicing imperfect art at home, in between weekly sessions. If they'd like learners can share their imperfect art on the classroom dashboard or during our class meetups, but there is no pressure to do so!
Supplies for this class are any art materials you (the learner) want to use. You can bring paints, markers, pencils, clay, or anything else you have fun using when you make art. You can also bring materials you've never used before as I always encourage trying new things!
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
