This class for students wanting to start learning violin or viola, or just interested in the violin/viola, will teach the names of the parts, some basic care, and include some rhythm and bow direction exercises; no instrument needed.

US Grade 3 - 6
In this class, learners will be introduced to the basic parts of the violin and their names, names of the strings, and a few basic violin care tips. After that we will do some active/physical practicing of some of the motions used playing the violin, including learning about 'up' bow and 'down' bow directions and practicing a variety of rhythm patterns with our voice and body.
