In this 3 week iMovie elective course, students will learn how to use the iMovie application on any Apple product (computer, iPad or iPhone) to make an iMovie home movie or sports related highlight video.
Class experience
In this 3 week elective, students will receive the tools to film, produce and create their own sports-related highlight video or at home movie using the Apple iMovie application. Hi learners and parents! I am a former college football player who has experience making sport highlight videos and at home movies. I have made 10 films using the iMovie application and love teaching kids the unique skills of making movies. I currently am a credentialed teacher in Washington State and hold my endorsements in biology (5-12), health (K-12) and fitness (K-12). I currently teach AP Biology, honors biology, anatomy and physiology and health science. Last year, I taught biology, environmental science, health, physics and P.E. to middle and high school students. I hold my Masters Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in life sciences and health. I received my Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from Whitworth University. I completed 1,250 clinical hours in physical therapy clinics, collegiate, semi-professional and high school athletic training rooms, emergency rooms and urgent cares.
