Feeling Ready for 2nd Grade? This ongoing course is a great way to introduce, enhance, or review Second Grade #academic skills. Learners will practice 2nd grade reading and math skills in an engaging way, to prepare for the upcoming year!

Class Experience

US Grade 2nd grade

Through the use of performance tasks, games, activities, interactive PowerPoints, and Google Slides presentations, learners are introduced to 2nd Grade Math and Reading/ELA skills in a fun and engaging way! 

This is an ongoing class with skills taught in isolation. The classes will not build off of each other from week to week, so feel free to jump in on ANY WEEK and not feel "behind!" (*You may join or end classes at any time to accommodate your schedule.)

This class is taught in English.

I am a highly qualified educator with over ten years of experience in the field of Elementary (K-5) Education. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education, and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum & Instruction. Additionally, I have attained Math, Reading, and ESOL Endorsements.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Math Magician

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

I will screenshare the Math Magician games. Students will NOT be directed to type or click into any external sites.
