I'm Going to Kindergarten! Reading, Math, and More!

Your child is going to kindergarten.  How exciting!  

Whether your child is already involved in a kindergarten program, or getting ready to begin kindergarten, please allow him/her to join us.  This class will provide an opportunity for your learner to explore many kindergarten skills and gain more confidence in a positive, inclusive atmosphere. In each of the 4 days, your child will participate in fun activities to practice many kindergarten skills - letters, numbers, math, phonics, writing, listening, and speaking.   The structure of each class will be fairly similar, with room for scaffolding and flexibility as needed.  This will help your child get used to a kindergarten routine.  

There will be times in which all learners will be muted, to allow all students to hear.  Background noises in other households can be very distractive, especially to young learners.  However, students will be unmuted for other activities, especially when they are individually sharing with the group.  Each group requires a different amount of muting and other classroom management options.
