I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed school counselor with extensive educational background about mental health topics. Although the content of the course is about boredom prevention, individual learners will not be asked to share specific personal examples. Class discussion is intended to be general and higher level to provide a broad foundational understanding to support the learning and knowledge application.
Learners are asked to print a handout that will be provided in advance of the class that will be used with one of the activities. Markers, crayons, or colored pencils will also be need. Please bring two dice for the game as well. Additionally, a printable handout of numerous "boredom busters" will be provided following the class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
