In our small group of six or fewer, we practice English grammar by showing off and describing our favorite toy. First, we start with introductions. Then, we take turns presenting our favorite toy followed by answering questions others may have (3-5 minutes). As the facilitator, I encourage students to speak using full sentences. In this way, we talk and interact with each other through natural conversation with corrections and note taking along the way. Our conversations are inspired by the toys that each student brings to class and how they choose to describe it. Finally, we end with a summary of corrections and what we've learned.
Learning Goals
Students will continue to build their confidence in speaking English fluently.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am from the sunny state of Florida USA! I am passionate about teaching English as a Foreign Language to young learners who want to learn to speak, read, listen and write fluently. I know the challenges of learning a new language, as I too am a student of Spanish and Portuguese. I have had the marvelous experience of teaching young learners online for a year before I moved to Spain to teach English to young learners in person in their schools. Afterwards, l returned home and continued teaching online. I believe that teaching others is one of the best things a person can do! My goal is to help you reach your goal to learn and speak English while learning about each other’s cultures! I am honored to be a part of the journey!
