If I give a reader the book, Because of Winn Dixie, by Kate DiCamillo, they will want the movie to go with it!

I love discussing and comparing a book and a movie! This spring and summer, I will be offering several "Book with a Movie" Clubs. This is such a great way to study and understand story elements. It is my favorite "out of the box" teaching strategy for teaching fictional texts.

Learners will need a copy of each book (or an audiobook) listed in the class description.
Learners will need access to the movie listed in the class description.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
