Class Experience
🖌️ This ongoing art club is for those who love art and wish to advance their drawing and watercolor painting skills while being creative. We will create a new work of art in each session so you may join in at any time. 🖌️ Hone your skills by creating art consistently with repeated practice. I will guide you through techniques that will be relevant to what subject matter has been chosen for our weekly classes, which will be driven by the learner’s suggestions. 🖌️ We will start off class...
This class is taught in English.
Students will gain skills in sketching, watercolor painting, creativity, composition, and use of the Elements and Principles of Art and Design in their work.
I am a K-12 certified art teacher and have been teaching for 20+ years to a variety of age ranges both in schools and in the private sector.
No homework will be assigned unless they feel they would like to spend more time refining their work.
Watercolor or Mixed Media Paper - to prevent frustration this thick paper is best, thinner paper soaks up the water and wears holes into it quickly Pencil Eraser Watercolor Paint Soft Paint Brushes - a variety of sizes Water Cup Paper Towel Optional: Crayons, Oil Pastels or Watercolor Pencils
Guidance will be provided every step of the way.
