Description
Class Experience
Students will gain skills in painting, composition, and creating value to enhance their painting with texture and details.
I am a K-12 certified art teacher and have been teaching for 20+ years to a variety of age ranges both in schools and in the private sector.
No homework will be assigned unless they feel they would like to spend more time refining their painting.
Painting surface 8” X 10”, 9” X 12”, or 11” X 14” (this can vary with what supplies you have at home): Stretched canvas, canvas board, cardboard, thick paper, recycled materials like the inside of a cereal box, etc. Pencil Acrylic paint - I used white, black, blue, orange, and yellow. Brushes - a variety of sizes Water Cup Paper Towel A placemat and paint shirt or apron are recommended
Guidance will be provided every step of the painting.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
