Class Experience
I may have cats now but I grew up with and love dogs. I also often have dogs join my students while taking other classes so I figured it was time to add them to the list of animals that we should draw! This class will enhance observation skills and the understanding of proportion, shapes, and forms as we draw the face of a dog or puppy. Yours might look different than mine because we will look at how the shape and size of their ears and snout really affect what they look like and then you...
This class is taught in English.
Students will gain skills in drawing, shading, proportion, and observation.
I have been teaching this and similar drawing lessons for 20+ years to a variety of age ranges.
No homework will be assigned but additional practice is always encouraged.
Drawing paper Pencil (a variety of drawing pencils are helpful but not necessary) Eraser *Colored pencils are optional
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Guidance will be provided every step of the drawing.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
