25 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
It is with permission of HarperCollins Children's books that I get to read one of my FAVORITE stories, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie by Laura Numeroff. In this one-time class, we will read about mouse and what happens when you give him a cookie. This fun story showcases how making certain choices can lead to different and unexpected outcomes. 1. We will start off with our introduction song. Then the children will share with the group what yummy treat they brought. 2. We will then jump into the story. 3. The children will go around and say what their favorite part of the story was and answer a few questions related to the book. 4. We will do a fun craft/coloring page at the end. 5. Say our goodbyes. Please be sure to print off the documents needed for the craft and see the remaining supplies needed below. I'm excited to share this story with your children! This experience will help them develop a love of reading, the ability to interreact in a fun setting with other children, and have fun creating a craft.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello everyone! I'm so excited you are considering me as a teacher for your child. I have a B.A. in Communications from Youngstown State University and years of experience with children.
I am a stay at home mom to two little girls, ages 5 and 3. We love having fun, being silly, and doing lots of crafts or playing with dolls. Singing and dancing around the house are one of our favorite activities. When we aren't having fun we are probably moving around the country as a military family.
Besides staying at home with my children, I also teach English online to children ages 3-11. I have been doing this for the past couple of years and LOVE it. It's rewarding and fun.
I believe it is important for children to have fun learning and plan to have everyone laughing and smiling in my class. While learning should be fun I also believe it's important for children to learn patience and listening skills. I look forward to teaching your child and will treat them as if they were my own!
