Class Experience

This is an economics lesson for young learners. Students will learn the concepts of unlimited wants, goods, and services. Students will also discuss cause and effect, make predictions, and recall the events in the story. I will be reading aloud the book, "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Joffe Numeroff. As a class, the students will answer reading comprehension questions and make predictions  of what might happen next. We will go over "needs" and "wants" in a power point slide. Students...

Students will understand the basic economic concepts of needs, wants, goods, and services. Students will also learn cause and effect and create their own "If... then" sentences.

-1-3 sheets of plain, white paper to draw on
-markers,crayons, or colored pencils
-pencil

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
