Description

Class Experience

During storytime, I will read If You Give a Cat a Cupcake by Laura Numeroff.  Throughout the story, I will pause to allow students to predict what they think will happen next. We will discuss that cause/effect is when something happens as a result of something else. I will ask students to complete the statement If you give a cat a cupcake it will. Students will share their own responses or their favorite from the story. We will then use any of the materials listed and a cupcake pattern that I...

Students will be introduced to cause and effect.
Students will respond to and ask questions about the story.

  2 files available upon enrollmentCupcake and Letter C template provided 
 Crayons, markers, or paint
Buttons, sequins, glitter, or pom poms to decorate

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
