In this One-Time class, children will listen to a storybook called If You Give a Cat a Cupcake By Laura Numeroff and do a simple craft. Stuffed animals are welcome for a short show and tell.

Do you LOVE cats?? I do!! Come join me as I read ‘If You Give a Cat A Cupcake’ written by Laura Numeroff read by me, Miss TIffany. Then we will do a fun craft project together. Students will practice cutting, coloring, and gluing. Some assistance might be needed from parents for smaller learners as they complete a craft with the class. I will share the pictures from the book then I will show the children how to complete a simple craft project step by step. Students are encouraged to talk during art time and interact with each other. No background knowledge is required as I will be reading the story. It would be helpful if the children are familiar with using children's scissors and glue for craft time. Some parent assistance may be needed during craft time if not. Students are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal or a special toy to class for a short show and tell as we get to know each other. I look forward to meeting everyone in the class. Learning Goals
Students will learn listening skills, we will be cutting with scissors, coloring with crayons, using a glue stick. Using fine motor and social skills.
