1) What will be taught? In this one time class students will get the opportunity to write about their life if they were a super hero. There are questions to be answered. What super powers would you want? What would you do with them? Would you have a costume? There is so much to write about and so little time. Students will improve when it comes to brainstorming before writing a story. They will learn what goes into the beginning, middle, and end of a story. They will get familiar with how to use details to make their writing more interesting.
Students need a pencil and paper. They can also bring a cape or their favorite super hero item if they would like:)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
