Not all kaiju look like Godzilla! In this 3-day camp, learners will create their very own Kaiju Pet! What does it look like? What does it eat? Where does it sleep? What do you like to do with your pet? Kaiju Pets are scary cool!

Have you ever thought that a kaiju would make a scary cool pet? Learners can create the spunky, spikey, fuzzy, fiery kaiju pets of their wildest imaginations in this three-day creating, drawing, and/or writing camp. Day 1: Create! Using a graphic organizer (available in the classroom before class), learners will brainstorm what their pet will look like, act like, and more. What will it eat? How will you feed it? Where will it sleep? Will you take it for a walk? Day 2: Design! Draw or build your kaiju pet using materials from your home, such as paper and drawing utensils, paint, clay, pipe cleaners and other craft supplies, etc. Day 3: Write/Draw and Share! Write or draw about something you like to do with your kaiju pet and share your creation with the group. I can't wait to learn about your scary cool new pet kaiju!

Day 1: graphic organizer found in the classroom (or a sheet of blank paper) and a pencil with eraser. Day 2: materials with which to create such as paper and drawing utensils, paint supplies, clay, craft supplies. Day 3: writing and/or drawing template found in classroom (or a sheet of blank paper) and writing and/or drawing utensils.
