Parental Guidance
Parents, I know you want to assist your child with the writing of their story. But, please let their story be their story. If there are any corrections to be made to the rough draft, allow the student to make the corrections with some assistance from you. I encourage students to read their rough draft to a parent or family member. Important, I require that the final paper be typed. If your child does not know how to type, please feel free to type the paper for them. Typed papers are to be emailed to me “Two” days before class, so that I will have time to review the story before the next class. My goal is to discuss homework stories at the beginning of the next class. LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL NOT BE EVALULATED.
