We have been using IEW in our homeschool for 8+ years and I am a true believer in the method. As a registered instructor, I would like to help other children learn the joy and ease of writing using IEW. I teach from IEW texts as well as my own designed courses, such as this one.
Homework Offered
Assignments, which will consist of 1-3 paragraphs, will be posted each week in the Google Classroom and are due one week after they are assigned (unless otherwise noted). Checklists will be provided to remain on task and reach the hightest score possible. Resubmissions are allowed should corrections need to be made. Source texts, note posters, and other items to help remember concepts will be provided. In some cases students will need to research and bring their own sources to class to complete assignments. Several assignments will be linked to the reading of the literature, therefore the literature reading is a required portion of this course and required for success of the course.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
