Class Experience
Students will take notes on the type of angles and their measurements. They will draw acute, obtuse, right and straight angles in order to learn to identify them when seen. Students will take notes on each type of angles and the different version of each. Once they have seen several versions of each angle they will be able to complete a worksheet by classifying the angle as acute, obtuse, right or straight. This is a lesson that I have taught both in a public school with a class of 30 students and in private tutoring setting, and I have always been able to identify the misconceptions regarding this lesson. This helps me adjust the lesson to individual needs.
1 file available upon enrollmentPlease print out attached worksheet. Please have students come to class prepared with a notebook, a pencil and at least two colored pens.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed in the form of questioning throughout the lesson. Students will also demonstrate comprehension through modeling the steps learned.
