In this one time class, we will learn how dolphins sleep; what a baby dolphin is called; what is a big threat to dolphins; and many other exciting facts about dolphins.

Class experience

Students will improve their understanding of dolphins as living creatures of the seas. They will synthesize facts to become more knowledgeable as they discuss ideas with one another. They will also have an opportunity to share experiences if they have seen dolphins.
A one-page hand-out on dolphins will be provided for print out after the lesson. Students will need paper and pencil for class.
