Class Experience

Students will learn through a live reading of the story, with engaging questions.  Focus will be on identifying the special things about ourselves. Students will have the opportunity to share something about themselves. The story, “I Wish That I Had Duck Feet” by Dr. Seuss, is an imagery rich, humorous journey that shows kids how great it is to be themselves. After reading the story, students will complete a picture that showcases the things that make them special. (Younger students have an optional colouring page.)

Learning Goals

Students will use their imagination to engage in the story.  Students will also apply the key concept through the creative project and questions.
