In this one-time class, students will learn about grit (perseverance) and its importance to their success in school, work, sports, and life. Learners will take away simple strategies on how to apply this important skill to any new endeavor.

In this course, students will be introduced to the idea of perseverance, resiliency, and grit to overcome obstacles. Now, more than ever, students need strategies to get through the times they are facing. The class will be structured to appeal to all learning styles – PowerPoint slides and lecture, video clips, examples, case studies, chat room use, and student interaction and engagement. We will also discuss each student’s grit scale score (to be taken prior to start of class). No experience...
Students will improve their understanding of perseverance and grit. By having taken the grit test, leaners will recognize their current grit standing and learn strategies to strengthen it for future success.
